Information for Your Eye Care

Eye care is an essential service and we make it as convenient as possible. At Leet Meldrew Eye Care, we offer direct billing to most major third party insurance providers and take various payment forms.

It’s always a good idea to check your coverage with your insurance provider before booking your appointment. If you’re wondering if we accept your insurance, please feel free to call our office, and one of our friendly staff members will gladly look into it.

OHIP Coverage

OHIP covers annual eye exams for those 19 and under and 65 and older. OHIP also covers the cost of an annual exam for those with a medical condition that affects the eyes (like diabetes, glaucoma, or retinal disease) and requires frequent monitoring. However, most adults between 20 and 64 aren’t covered by OHIP.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that things happen and life can get in the way of making it to your appointment. However, we do ask that you give us at least 24 hours notice when cancelling so your time can be given to someone else.

Unfortunately, if you miss your appointment or don’t give us adequate time to fill your spot, your account will be billed with a $50 missed appointment fee.
